Services for Larry Wayne Scott, Sr., 64, of Andrews, N.C. will be Saturday, August 21, 2004 at 11:00AM at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel in Thomasville, GA. Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Born October 12, 1939 in Brooks Co., GA. he was the son of the late James Scott and Louvenia Scott Harrison who survives in Cairo, GA. Mr. Scott was a retired M/Sgt. of the United States Air Force. Upon retirement Mr. Scott was employed as a Procurement Officer with the U. S. Corp. of Engineers. Mr. Scott is survived by his wife, Mae Powell Scott of Andrews, N.C., sons, Larry Scott, Jr. of Live Oak, FL, Chris Scott of Tyler, TX, daughter, Joye McLester of San Antonio, TX, grandson, Daniel Scott, granddaughters, Angel Scott and Renee McLester, brothers, Clifford and Woodrow Scott of Thomasville, GA, sisters, Carolyn Courtney of Cairo, GA, Alice Bond of Whigham, GA. He was preceded in death by his sister, Robbie Nell Greene. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:30-7:30PM on Friday.
