Services for Laura Joan Davis Stewart, 85 of Ochlocknee will be held at 11 AM Friday, November 4, 2016 at Ochlocknee Baptist Church, where she was a member. Rev. Dennis Norman will officiate and interment will follow at Ochlocknee City Cemetery. Ms. Stewart passed away November 2 at Golden Living. Born February 21, 1931 in Thomas County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie G. Davis and Laura Lavada Smith Davis. She was married to Audra Lucas Stewart, Jr., who preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, Randy B. Stewart of Ochlocknee, Michael D. Stewart, Sr and wife Hilda of Eatonton and Sharon Elizabeth Bolly and husband Wayne of Ochlocknee; grandchildren, Phillip G. Palmer, Jr., Randall B. Stewart, Jr., Mary Aida (Madi) Stewart, Chad S. Palmer, Jerry V. Stewart, Jennifer A. Stewart, Michael Shane Stewart, David L. Stewart, Jr., Michael D. Stewart, Jr., Damon A. Gilstrap, Elizabeth A. Stewart, Audra L. Stewart, III, Laura A. Stewart, Tiffany N. Tucker and Brittany Nicole Stewart; numerous great-grandchildren: sisters, Judy Guill and Opal Ellis; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by son, David Larry Stewart; brother and sisters, J.C. Davis, Grace D. Pridgeon, Myrtle D. Hicks, and Eunice D. Bozeman; brother-in-law, Donnie R. Ellis and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Stewart Williams. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm, Thursday, at the funeral home.
