Laval P. Trotter

Graveside services for Laval P. Trotter of Quitman will be at 9:30AM on Tuesday, August 30, 2005 at Laurel Hill Cemetery on Tennessee Street. The Rev. Stephen Bradshaw will officiate. Mrs. Trotter died August 27, 2005 at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman. Born April 26, 1927 in Grady Co., GA she was the daughter of the late Henry Martin and Lula Elizabeth Boyett Peacock. On November 29, 1958 in Brooks Co., GA she married Willis Henry Trotter who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and attended services at the Presbyterian Home. Mrs. Trotter with her husband had previously owned a small country store near Boston, GA. Before her marriage she had worked at a Children?s Home and Archbold Memorial Hospital. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Dale and David Nacinovich, Karen and Tom Holt all of Thomasville; grandson, Stephen Thomas Holt; brother and sister-in-law, Charles Robert Bob and June Peacock of Seminole, FL and many nieces and nephews. Sisters, Hattie Mae Lewis, Eva Kinchen, Eula Jones and brother, George Peacock, preceded her in death. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8PM on Monday.
