Lawrence Estee O’Neal Sr. passed away October 30, 2016 with his loving family by his side. He was born December 30, 1924 in Odum, Georgia. Mr. O’Neal attended Evangel Temple Assembly of God and was a WWII U. S. Navy veteran who served aboard the USS Biloxi “Busy Bee“. He was a very beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.
Mr. O’Neal is survived by: sons Wayne Henderson, Tony O’Neal (Barbara), Danny O’Neal (Betty), Eddie O’Neal (Genia), and Charles O’Neal (Lisa); daughter Sandra O’Neal; daughter-in-law Andrea O’Neal; sisters Evelyn Rollins and Wedena Oliver; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Mr. O’Neal was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years Marie O’Neal and sons Lawrence E. O’Neal Jr. and Delain Henderson.
The family will receive friends Thursday November 3, 2016 6:00-8:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Giddens-Reed Funeral Home 270 U S Highway 301 N. Baldwin, FL and Saturday, November 5, 2016 10:00 A.M.-12:00 Noon in the Chapel of Allen and Allen Funeral Home 110 W. Hansell St. Thomasville, GA. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 P.M. at Laurel Hill Cemetery Thomasville, GA with Pastor Garry Wiggins officiating.
