Services for Leah Cleopatra Vick of Americus are at 2:00PM, Friday, September 15, 2006 at Barnett's Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Leon VanLandingham will officiate and interment is in Barnett's Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Vick died September 12 in Americus. Born September 8, 1925 in Estero, FL she was the daughter of the late Robert Alfred Green and Viola Mattie Leah Johnston Green. On January 31, 1942, in Punta Gorda, FL., she married James Henry Vick who peceded her in death on Sept. 21, 1982. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Albany. She was retired from Thomas Drug Store and a member of the American Legion in Ochlocknee. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Lisa Vick of Oakfield, Robert and Jean Vick of Thomasville, Jerry and Deloris Vick of Americus; grandchildren, Hank Vick, Kelly Harris, Bobby Vick, Russ Vick, Chad Vick, Melissa Sightler; 12 grandchildren; sisters, Bobbie Stephens of North Fort Myers, FL, Betty Klipp of Fort Myers, FL, Emmaline Horvath of North Fort Myers, FL, Mariana Pankraty of Texas; and brother, Daniel Green of Fort Myers, FL.
