Born September 1, 1911 in Stewart Co., GA. she was the daughter of the late Kirk S. and Eddie House Wimberly. On September 7, 1938 in Thomasville she married William Roland Clayton who preceded her in death. Mrs. Clayton worked for many years at McCollum and Simmons CPA in Thomasville. She was a member of the United Methodist Women?s Circle and the Garden Club. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn Clayton Braun and James V. of Dayton, OH, son and daughter-in-law, Williams Roland Clayton, Jr. and Kasey of Athens, GA., grandchildren, Benjamin Clayton and Martha, Jennifer Clayton Frost and Dana, David C. Braun, Suzanne Braun, Janine and Karl Borneman, Joyce and Tim Trapp, great grandchildren, Clayton Frost, Drew and Max Borneman, Robbie, Joey and Jeffrey Trapp, sister, Elizabeth McKinnon of Tallahassee, Fl. and several nieces and nephews.
