Services for Lee Ashley Johnson, Jr., 85, of Pavo are 11:00 am, Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Salem Baptist Church. The Rev. John Grebeta and Rev. Rawleigh Furney will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Mr. Johnson passed away May 18, 2011 at his residence. Born March 1, 1926 in Tampa, Fl, he was the son of the late Lee Ashley Johnson, Sr and Lula Mae Dunn Johnson. He was married to Annie Laura Owens Johnson who preceded him in death. He served in the US Military during WWII. Survivors include children, Linda Joyce Johnson Dickens of Thomasville, Carolyn Sue Stone of Barwick, Gary Lee Johnson and wife Bonnie of Buckingham, Fl; step children, David Tinsley and wife Linda and Billy Owens all of Pavo; grandchildren, Amanda Marie Stone King and husband Lee, Mitch William Stone and wife Autumn, Kristina Maria Rhoden, Stephanie Chae Johnson, William Ashley Johnson; step grandchildren, David Tinsley, Jr. and wife Melinda, Danielle Hiers and husband Derrik, Billy Owens, Jr., Lynn Herndon; 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by grandson, Shon Mica Dickens. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm, Friday at the funeral home chapel. Guests may sign the online guest register at www.allenfh.com
