Services for Lee Vick, 89, of Boston are 2:00pm, Thursday, March 4, 2009 at Salem Baptist Church. The Rev. John Grebeta will officiate with interment in the church cemetery. Mr. Vick passed away March 1, 2009 at Archbold Hospital. Born January 15, 1921, he was the son of the late Jesse Vick and Florence Johnson Vick. Mr. Vick was a carpenter with Modern Builders, a retired Warden with the Thomas County Correction Institute and a veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Tommie Ruth Pafford Vick, of Boston, daughters & sons-in-law, Brenda & Larry Myers of Orlando Fl, Kaye & Bill Gunnels of Monticello, Sue and Randy Newberry of Boston, mother-in-law, Katie Pafford, grandchildren, Eddie & Debbie Reddick, Ricky Reddick, Jill & Jon Denton, Casey Gunnels, Todd Newberry and Tyler Newberry; great-grandchildren, Jarid Reddick and Lindsey Reddick; sister-in-law, Martha Clark, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Pete & Doris Owens and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Amy Gunnels, brothers, Luther Vick, Ted Vick and Bud Vick, sister, Jewell Rhames.
