Leila Parrish Hendricks

Services for Leila Parrish Hendricks, 100, of Thomasville will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, September 7, 2012 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Roger Brinkley will officiate and interment will be in Pelham City Cemetery. Mrs. Hendricks passed away September 4, 2012 at Archbold Hospital. Born March 9, 1912 in Pelham, she was the daughter of the late Euwell Parrish and Viva Earle Harrod Parrish. She was married to Arthur J. Hendricks who preceded her in death. Mrs. Hendricks was a seamstress and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her children, Betty D. Jones and husband Wilbur of Thomasville, Gwen D. Hart of Houston, TX and Janette Tucker and husband Emory of Morvin; grandchildren, Jeffrey D. Jones and wife Deena, Patrick N. Jones, Cynthia L. Wilkerson and husband Rick, Jennifer L. Hart, D. Barry Hart and wife Brenda, Tina E. Fussell and husband Herbert and Dale E. Strickland and husband Doug; great grandchildren, Hayden Jones, Kaitlyn Jones, Clay Jones, Ben Jones, Kara Wilkerson, Jennifer Wilkerson, Garrett Wilkerson, Amanda Hart, Megan Hart, Christina Arrington, Jessilyn Davis Arrington, Kendale Zimmerman and Denim Strickland; great great-grandchildren, Ryder Jones and Lyric Jones and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by grandson, Stephen B. Jones; sisters and brothers, Vera Brinkley, Oliver B. Parrish, Theo Parrish, Corinne Davis and Lena Cook.
