Lela W. Mcrory

Lela McRory, 84 of Thomasville passed away on August 22, 2024. She was born on November 18, 1939, in Thomasville to the late Lawton and Mattie Wilkes.
Lela was a woman of deep faith and a member of Victory Baptist Church. She loved her family and spending time with them.
She is survived by her sons Robert McRory of Thomasville and Randy Williams (Pat) of Crestview, FL; daughters Bobbie Gail Baggett of Thomasville, Kathy Bryant (Ken) of Covington, Sherry Albright of Tifton, and Wanda Ivey (Raymond) of Covington and son-in-law Jim Morencey of Jacksonville, followed by 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her brother Buddy Wilkes, son-in-law Ray Baggett, daughters Rose Marie Morencey and Linda McRory, husband Bobby McRory, and parents Lawton and Mattie Wilkes.
A service to celebrate the life of Lela McRory will be held on Sunday, August 25th at 4 pm at the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel with Reverend Gary Holland officiating. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 24th from 6-8 pm at the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel.
