Lemuel E. (L.E.) Weeks

Services for Lemuel E. (L.E.) Weeks will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Rose City Church of God with Rev. Gerald Horne officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. L.E. passed away on January 30, 2021. He was born on November 23, 1930, in Moultrie, Ga to the late Isaac Frank Weeks and Ida Pearl Keigans. On October 22, 1951, he married Vera Thomas in Thomas County. He retired from South Georgia Natural Gas. L.E. enjoyed fishing, camping, and listening to gospel and bluegrass music. When he wasn't enjoying his hobbies, he loved spending time with his family. L.E. was a member of Rose City Church of God. Survivors include his wife Vera Thomas Weeks; his children, Brenda Crowe, Michael Weeks, Janice Weeks, and Tracie Lea Gibbs all of Thomasville, GA; and 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Evelyn Wade, Leonard Lee Weeks, Carolyn Lane, and Alfred Clinton Weeks. A viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Allen & Allen Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 2nd, 2021.
