Lemuel Emmett Mceachin

A Memorial service for Lemuel Emmett McEachin, III of Tallahassee, FL is at 3:00PM on Friday, July 2, 2004 at Dawson Street Baptist Church. The Rev. Sherman Hall will officiate. Mr. McEachin passed away at his home in Tallahassee on Friday, June 25 of congestive heart failure. Mr. McEachin was born in Waycross, GA on July 20, 1944 and graduated with honors from Central High School where he was the captain of the football and track team. He was also a University of Goergia graduate where he attended on academic and track scholarships and was captain of the UGA track team. He is survived by his mother, Jewell K. McEachin of Thomasville, son Lemuel Emmett "Mac" McEachin, IV of Mesa, AZ, daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Mark Taylor, two grandsons, Zachary and Nicholas Taylor, brothers, Robin McEachin, Peter McEachin all of Tallahassee, Paul McEachin of Atlanta, as well as many other friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his father L.E. McEachin, Jr. and brother, Michael. Emmett will be remembered for his kind heart, compassionate nature, and willingness to lend a helping had to anyone in need.
