Graveside services for Lena Shaw, 94 of Thomasville, Ga will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 3, 2025, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Dr. Jimmy Clanton officiating. She passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Archbold Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born on May 31, 1930 in Decatur County, Ga to the late Joseph Blocker and the late Georgia “Lynn” Blocker.
She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed spending time with her three daughters. She loved country music, especially George Jones. Her Favorite color was yellow. She was also a fabulous cook, especially her chocolate cakes.
Survivors include daughters Elaine Rehberg, Brenda Peacock (Buddy), Tammy Spikes (Gary), and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Royce Shaw, her granddaughter Tiffany Miranda Spikes, and her son-in-law Edward Rehberg.
