Leon Lyman Meades

Services for Leon Lyman Meades will be held Saturday, August 22, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Enon Baptist Church Cemetery with his niece Victoria Carter officiating Leon passed away on August 19, 2020. He was born on February 3, 1950, in Thomasville, GA to the late Oscar Meades and to the late Edna Hampton. He was married to the late Cindy Lavalley. He loved fishing, hot rod cars, and watching his Florida Gators play football. Survivors include his siblings, Ruby Padilla, Edward Meades, Rosa Pyle, Allen Meades; 15 nieces and nephews, several great- nieces and nephews, and several great-great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, wife; brothers & sister, Roscoe “Rap Jack” Meades, Michael Meades, James Meades, Pete Meades and Joan Meades, and Edna Sherrod.
