Leona A. Loviska, of Placentia, CA, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008 in Santa Ana, CA at the age of 94. She was born in Graham Township, Kansas to William and Nellie Sidfrid Adams on July 30, 1914. She was the oldset of 7, 4 girls and 3 boys. She was the Matriarch of the family and worked hard her entire life. She was a talented lady and mastered every project she set her mind to from painting, sewing, crocheting, and using her computer to publish the newsletter for the moblie home park where she lived, to writing, editing, and publishing a book entiltled "Descendants of James and Agnes Wilson Adams" a 463 page genealogy of the Adams family affectionately known as the "RED BOOK" by those who loved her. Local survivors include stepdaughter, Shirley Fort Carrol of Pavo; grandchildren, Carroll Fort Jr. of Pavo, and Yvonne Fort of Crawfordville, Fl; great-granddaughter, Chrystal Cardin of Crawfordville, Fl; great great- grandson, Hunter Laing of Crawfordville, Fl. Other survivors include daughter Barbara Carter Ray Orange, CA; 3 sisters; 2 brothers; 9 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Anthony Loviska; parents, William and Nellie Adams; daughter, Betty Carter, and brother, Orval Adams. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday Dec. 17, 2008 at Fairhaven Memorial Park, 1702 Fairhaven Ave, Santa Ana, CA. Burial will follow at Loma Vista Memorial Park in Fullerton, CA.
