Graveside services for Lessie L. Hatcher, 93, of Thomasville, will be Wednesday April 2, 2008 at 10:00 AM in Laurel Hill Cemetery on Georgia St. Rev. Charles Neely, Rev. Virgil Lee and Rev. Tegler Greer will officiate. Mrs. Hatcher died on March 30, 2008 at Golden Living Center in Thomasville. Born May 12, 1914 in Miller Co. she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Hattie Glass Lovering. On December 14, 1938, in Lakeland, FL, she married Luvanda Hatcher who died on August 30, 1975. Mrs. Hatcher was a homemaker and a member of Metcalfe United Methodist Church. Survivors include 2 daughters and sons in law, Sonja & David Reneau of Thomasville and Oveida & Tommy Johnson of Metcalfe. Also surviving are grandchildren, Melanie & Tim Bertsch, Vann & Lorraine Johnson, Mark Johnson, Stephanie and Jerry Wilson, Wes and Mandy Reneau; great grandchildren, Brittni Pannell, Sam Ayers, David Ayers, Shelli Gossett, Suzannah Johnson, Dillon and Drew Reneau; great great grandchildren, Maddison Gossett and Bryson Pannell. Mrs. Hatcher was preceded in death by a grandson, Vic Reneau, and a sister, Vera Lovering, and brothers, Roy Lovering, Cosby Lovering, Earnie Lovering, Blackshear Lovering and Brewton Lovering. In lieu of flowers, please take time to visit a neighbor, a friend a family member or someone you know who is unable to get out and visit with others. A smiling face always brightens someone's day. Each visit will be appreciated by the person and their family. Our prayer is that you will continue to make these visits. Memorials may also be made to the Metcalfe United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 on Tuesday night at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
