Lester H Richardson, Jr

Services for Lester H. Richardson Jr. will be held at Allen and Allen Funeral Home’s Celebration of Life Chapel, Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 11 AM. A visitation will be held one hour prior. Lester passed away on November 21, 2022. He was born on January 16, 1957, in Colquitt, Georgia to the late Edith Laverne Richardson and Lester H. Richardson Sr. He attended the Miller County School System in Colquitt, Ga. On January 16, 1980, Lester married Gladys Marie Richardson, the love of his life. He enjoyed farming, fishing, building new things, watching westerns, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Gladys Marie Richardson; daughters Stacy Benton (Russell) and Tracy Kent (Fiancé Sonya Brumblow) of Thomasville, and son Donald Richardson (Fiancé Marie Cloud) of Boston, Ga, and Piah George (adopted daughter); 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; brothers Paul and Frankie Richardson, and sisters Nancy Richardson of Baconton, Ga., Teresa Richardson of Bainbridge, Ga., and Patricia Richardson of Iron City, Ga; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Tony, Billy Ray, and Donald L. Richardson, and sister Sandra Ramirez; daughter-in-law Melissa Richardson and son-in-law Donald Kent. Pallbearers will be Dallin Kent, Travis Richardson, Gene Benton, Russell Benton, Christopher Richardson, and Frankie Richardson and Jeiysion Palacios.
