Services for Lewis J. Wayne of Thomasville are at 2:00PM on Saturday, July 3, 2004 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. Rev. Nathaniel Carter will officiate and interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mr. Wayne died June 30, 2004 at his residence. Born April 13, 1944 in Boyle Co., Kentucky he was the son of the late Ralph Everett and Mary Ellen Johnson Wayne. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Cairo and was a carpenter. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Angie and James Lyons of Harrodsburg, KY, Cindy and Keith Bicknell of Richman, KY, Donna and Kenny Carey of Houstonville, KY, son and daughter-in-law, Jamie and Tracy Wayne of Dannville, KY, stepdaughter and husband, Roxana & Bill Todd, stepdaughter, Larraine Myrick, stepson, Philip Wilham all of Cairo, GA, ten grandchildren, ten step grandchildren, four step great grandchildren, sisters, Montana Cummings, Geneca Robinson both of Harrodsburg, KY, Wilma Underwood, Junction City, KY, Mable Randolph of Ft. Smith, Ark., fiancé, Sandra McKinney and two devoted friends Francis Allen and Gene Benton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9PM on Friday.
