Lila Grace Turner

Graveside services for Lila Grace Turner of Ochlocknee will be held 11AM Friday February 1, 2019 at the Ochlocknee City Cemetery with Rev. Mack Luke officiating. Mrs. Turner passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019. Born on July 24, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Alligood and Kate Stanaland Alligood. She was married to J.R. (Jake) Turner who preceded her in death. Mrs. Turner was a lifelong homemaker. She is survived by her children: Greg Turner (Marci) of Quincy, Fl; Mary Lynn Lewis (Howell) of Ochlocknee; Sandi Turner of Ochlocknee; Chris Turner (Kathy) of Ochlocknee; daughter-in-law: Catherine Turner of Thomasville; siblings: Bessie Davis of Ochlocknee; Dave ‘Buddy’ Alligood of Tucson Arizona; grandchildren: Scott Lewis, David Lewis (Kelly), Amanda Read (Calvin), Christopher Turner, Marshall Turner, Shawn Turner, great-grandchildren Erilyn Read and Caden Read, nieces, nephews, and other close family members. She was preceded in death by her son, Brian Turner; her brother, Oscar ‘Junior’ Alligood; sisters: Ludie Simpson (Carroll); Margaret Cozart (Ernest); and Jo Gee (George).
