Lillian Gaynell Peterman

Graveside services for Lillian Gaynell Peterman of Thomasville will be held Sunday, June 12, 2005 at 2:00PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Lee Waller will officiate. Mrs. Peterman died June 9, 2005 at Camellia Gardens. Born October 12, 1915 in Madison Co., Ga; she was the daughter of the late James Elijah and Nay Hammie Gunter Stewart. On December 28, 1935 in Danielsville, Ga she married Tommie David Peterman who preceeds her in death. She was retired from Warners and of Baptist Faith. She is survived by daughters & son-in-law Martha & Grady Bullington of Tallahassee, Fl, Shirley & Olliff Flynt of Tifton, Ga, Marie & Bob Shiver of Warner Robins, Ga, and daughter Joan Ray of Thomasville. Brothers Edgar Stewart of Hull, Ga, Junior Stewart of Athens, Ga, Donald Stewart of Homer, Ga, and Jimmy Stewart of Hondo, Tx. Sisters Frances Duckworth of Colbert, Ga, Ruth Human, and Sarah Wages both of Athens, Ga. 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She is also preceeded in death by a daughter Evelyn Reneau, a grandson Micheal Lee Flynt, sister Mattie Sue Prather and brothers Robert & J.C. Stewart.
