Services for Lillian Virginia Moncrief Hicks, 91 of Thomasville will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Johnny Cooper will officiate and interment will follow in Laurel Hill cemetery. Ms. Hicks passed away August 17 at Camellia Gardens. Born August 10, 1923 in Thomas County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Robinson Moncrief and Mary Lillian Hough Moncrief. On May 15, 1952 in Pavo she married Thomas L. Hicks who preceded her in death. She was a nurse and a member of Pineland Baptist Church. She is survived by brother, Terry Moncrief of Thomasville and several nieces and nephews. Other than her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings, Jeff Moncrief, Alice Mae NeSmith, Jeanette Sanders, Beulah Wells and Bearclee Elliott.
