Services for Lillian Pete Martin Brown of Thomasville are at 2:00PM on Thursday, April 13, 2006 at Boston Baptist Church where she was a member. The Rev. Tim Phillips and the Rev. Brent Welch will officiate and interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Brown died Apr. 11 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born April 5, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Ira and Ada Bruce Martin. She was married to Glen Brown who preceded her in death. Mrs. Brown was a homemaker. Survivors include her daughters, Glenda Avera and Sharon Armstrong both of Thomasville; sister, Josephine NeSmith of Albany, GA; grandchildren, Jason and Melissa Avera, Amanda Avera, Heather Daughtry, Hunter Armstrong, great grandchildren, Ciera Hopkins, Breanna Avera and Joshua Avera. A brother, Bruce Martin and sisters, Mary Emma Benford, Minnie Clayton and Irene Jenkins, preceded her in death. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
