It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Linda Sue McAnally Balfour, who left us on August 16, 2026, at her home. Linda was a devoted mother, who loved her daughters, Natalie Balfour, and Stephanie Balfour Dean, beyond measure, a wife, sister, daughter, sister-in-law, and friend. Linda was a beautiful, kind, and giving woman who brought joy and laughter to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She was born in Kansas City, Kansas on May 13, 1961 to Robert Gene McAnally, Sr. and Sue Hemme McAnally. She married David M. Balfour on February 20, 1982 and they built a remarkable marriage spanning more than four decades. She cherished her time with her family and her beloved dogs, Mako, Kodi, and Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Robert Gene McAnally, Sr.
Her absence will be felt in every moment, in every memory, and in all the years to come. The love she gave so freely will continue to live on in those who knew her. Linda will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Linda is survived by her husband, David M. Balfour, her daughters, Natalie Balfour (Matt), and Stephanie Balfour Dean (Travis), her siblings, Cindy Tarabula (John), Robert Gene McAnally, Jr. (Deborah), Scott McAnally (Lisa), Laurie Ann Dalton (George), and lots of nieces and nephews, which she loved and adored.
