Linda Furr Carter

Funeral services for Linda Furr Carter, 59 of Thomasville will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, May 12, 2013 at New Covenant Church where she was a member. Rev. David Allen will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Carter passed away May 7 at Archbold Hospital. Born August 5, 1953 in Las Vegas, NV; she was the daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson Furr and Sydney Starr Furr. On December 15, 1973 in Biloxi, MS she married Kelby Carter, Sr who survives. Other survivors include her children, Angela Carter Orr and husband Andrew of St. Petersburg, Fl, Kelby Carter, Jr of Castle Rock, CO, Timothy Carter and wife Ceci of Olympia, WA; grandson, Andrew Orr, Jr and brothers, John Jolly and Marvin Jolly. In lieu of flowers the family asks that that donations be made to the Pregnancy Center of Southwest Georgia, 320 N. Crawford St, Thomasville, Ga 31792.
