Shirey, 68, of Thomasville, formally of West Palm Beach, Fl, is 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 8, 2007 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bobby Lindsey officiating. Mr. Shirey died December 2, 2007 at Golden Living Center. Born April 30, 1939 in Indianapolis, In., he was the son of the late Don & Genevieve Reeder Shirey. On September 2, 1999 he married Deanna Gorman Shirey, who survives. Other survivors include stepdaughter, Michele Rivera, of Alpharetta, Ga, stepdaughter & stepson-in-law, Paula & Nick Abiusi, of West Palm Beach, Fl, stepson, Rick Ramos of Monroe, NC, sister & brother-in-law, Karen & Stan Whelchel, of Indianapolis, In., nieces Debra Hartsock, Shannon Thomas, Niece Kara Speckman and husband Jim, grandchildren Melissa Ramos, DeAnna DeJesus, K.J. DeJesus, Whitney Honeycutt, R.J. Abiusi, Rachel Abiusi, great granddaughter Lexis Rhodes, 11 great nieces and nephews. Guests may sign the online guest register at
