Lois Bradshaw Elam, 79 of Thomasville died December 16, 2012 at her residence. Born December 25, 1932 to Royal Wayne Bradshaw and Jessie Johnson Bradshaw in Old Hickory, TN. She attended DuPont High School and Tennessee Tech University, where she met Ed on October 24, 1950 and married on July 28, 1953. Lois liked to think of herself as a professional club woman due to the many organizations to which she belonged. Most recently holding office in TEF, Thomasville Garden Club and served as a past Regent of Thomasville NSDAR. A past Matron of Willoughby , OH OES, and an associate member of the J.W. Pickering Chapter, NSDAR, Marblehead, MA. She attended Thomasville First United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Lawson Neel Sunday School Class and the Prayer Shaw Ministry. She is survived by her husband, Ed Elam of Thomasville; David Bradshaw Elam of Statesville, NC; brother, James Bradshaw and wife Mary Lena of Kalispell, MT; niece, Julia Sherrick and husband Robert of MT and nephew Ted Bradshaw and wife Barbara of NH. At Lois's request, there will be no service. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm, Wednesday, December 19 at First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.
