Lola Inez Phinazee Knight

Services for Lola Inez Phinazee Knight, 88 of Thomasville will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Mack Luke and Rev. Lee Waller will officiate and interment will be in Big Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Knight passed away November 5 at Archbold Hospital after a short illness. Born August 8, 1924 in Thomasville she was the daughter of the late Marshall Phinazee and Ennie Lota Dode Miller Phinazee. She was married to James Virgil Knight for 66 years, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Knight was a member of Dawson Street Baptist Church and was retired from Sunnyland after 21 years. She is survived by her children, Dennis Knight and wife JoAnn of Ochlocknee, Donna Marlene Griffin of Thomasville; grandchildren, Derek Knight, Victoria Knight Sellers, Jason Griffin, Jill Wilder, Jennifer Smallwood and Joni Crawford; great grandchildren, J.J. Michaels, Maggie Smallwood, Morgan Smallwood, Ellie Griffin, Miles Griffin, Griffin Wilder, Maxwell Wilder, Jailey Sellers, Jayden Sellers, Khloe Knight and Duke Knight . She was preceded in death by great granddaughter Lola Wilder. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm, Wednesday, November 7 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
