Graveside services for Lonelle Singletary Barrett of Cairo are at 2:00PM on Sunday, November 16, 2003 at Barnetts Creek Cemetery. The Rev. Lee Brookins will officiate. Mrs. Barrett died November 14, 2003 at Grady Co. General Hospital. Born April 9, 1939 in Grady Co., GA. she was the daughter of the late D. J. & Gladys Murphy Brookins. She was married to Spencer Singletary who preceded her in death and Legette Barrett who survives. She was a homemaker and a member of Barnetts Creek Baptist Church. Other survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Travis Spencer, Jr. and Lori Singletary of Crestview, Fl., Jack and Lisa Fletcher Singletary of Thomasville, Tim and Karen Leabo Singletary of Cairo, GA., and stepson, Heath Barrett of Ocala, Fl.; brothers, Harold Brookins, Jimmy Brookins, both of Green Cove Springs, Fl., sisters, Iris Launa Brookins of Dunedin, Fl., and Linda Wells of Cairo. To her grandchildren she was Oma. Their names are Hannah Singletary, Travis Spencer Singletary, III, Spencer Ellis Singletary, Jackson Dent Singletary, John Murphy Singletary, Zach Singletary, Levi Singletary and Justin Barrett. She was preceded in death by brothers, Ernest Brookins, Billy Brookins, Laffayete Brookins and Hugh Brookins and grandson, Mason Barrett.
