Graveside services for Lonnie Franklin Perkins, 94 of Monroe will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Salem Cemetery. Mr. Perkins passed away January 19, 2015 in Moultrie. Born December 23, 1921 in Moultrie, he was the son of the late J.L. Perkins and Mabel McCloud Perkins. He was married for 39 years to Elizabeth Roger Perkins who preceded him in death. He retired from Southwestern State Hospital as a security Guard. He is survived by his children, Betty Anne Perkins of Cairo, Lonnie Martin Perkins of Monroe and Franklin L. Perkins of California; grandchildren, Daniel Perkins, Jerimiah Perkins, Jamie Moore, Teresa Hurst, Dana Williams, David G. Moore, Christopher Moore and Toby Perkins; 4 great grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren and sister, Mervin Ritcher of Moultrie.
