Born October 18, 1952 in Albany, he was the son of the late Louie James Prevatt and Etheline Carlton Prevatt. He is survived by son, Chris Prevatt; daughter, Lisa Prevatt Cornelius; grandchildren, Joshua Cornelius, Christine Cornelius Lopez, Coleson Prevatt and Emily Prevatt; several great-grandchildren all of Arkansas and sister, Glynda O'Hare of Ochlocknee.
