Louis Brown

Louis Brown of Quitman, Ga. died Saturday November 16, 2013 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born on February 24, 1934 in Thomasville, Ga., he was the son of the late William David Brown and Estelle Lilly Byrd Brown. He was retired from Thomas Technical School and enjoyed gardening, fishing, and watching NASCAR and baseball. Mr. Brown is survived by his son Ricky Brown; daughter Caron Laster both of Adel, Ga; former wife Margaret C. Brown of Adel, Ga; grandchildren Tommy Laster, Daniel Laster, Hunter Lee Brown; sister Doris Busbee of Albany, Ga; numerous nieces and nephews. Special thank you to lifelong friend Faye Stanaland, who was his helpmate and always by his side. He is preceded in death by his siblings Clyde Brown, Clifford Brown, Jessie Stewart, David Brown, Oscar Brown, Ottis Brown, and Albert Brown. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
