Louis Morrell "Bo" Jenkins

Louis Morrell "Bo" Jenkins, 85 of Thomasville passed away at his home on September 10, 2026. Bo was born on June 28, 1941 in Thomasville to the late William Jenkins and Neva Copeland Godwin.

In his earlier years, Bo served his country in the United States Army. He married the love of his life, Myrna Sellers Jenkins on November 20, 1963 at Barnett's Creek Baptist Church. They enjoyed 56 years of marriage together before her passing in 2019. In his later years, Bo retired from the Thomas County Fire Department.

Survivors include his daughter Teresa Belvin and son-in-law Steve of Thomasville; sister Kathryn Holewinski of Pulaski, WI; grandsons Daniel Belvin and Joseph Belvin followed by several cousins in Thomas/Grady County and several nieces and nephews in Pulaski, WI.

Bo is preceded in death by his wife, parents, stepfather Charles Godwin, and brothers George Jenkins and Wayne Jenkins.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2026 2 pm at Barnett's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Steve Wooten Officiating. A visitation will be held from 1-2 pm prior to the service in the Fellowship Hall. Bo will be laid to rest next to his wife.
