Louis Edward Rayburn

Services for Louis Edward (Ed) Rayburn, 77 of Tallahassee will be held at 2:00PM, Friday, November 28, 2014 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville, Ga. Rev. Lee Waller will officiate and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mr. Rayburn passed away November 26, 2014 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Born July 8, 1937 in Pavo, Ga. He was the son of the late William Abner Rayburn and Ella Baughman Rayburn and is survived by his wife of 25 years, Dorothy Sims Rayburn. He worked for Coastal Lumber and later had a lawn care service in which he enjoyed and was extremely dedicated. He loved being outside and was a diehard Florida State Seminole fan. Other survivors include his step-daughters, Doris Evans and husband Dwight of Wacissa, FL and Sharon Davisson and husband Joe of Slidell, La; 6 step-grandchildren; sister, Irene White of Thomasville and his loving dog “BJ”. He was preceded in death by brothers, Judson Rayburn, Charles Rayburn, James Rayburn and Herbert Rayburn; sisters, Thelma Harris, Margaret Waters and Katherine Banks.
