Services for Louise B. Luke of Thomasville will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at Dawson Street Baptist Church where she was a member. The Rev. Lee Waller and the Rev. Mack Luke will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are grandson?s, Nat Carter, Greg Luke, Jimmy Luke, Raymond Hale, Jared Carter and Allan Duford. Mrs. Luke went home to be with the Lord on May 1, 2005 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born April 2, 1922 in Colquitt Co., GA, she was the daughter of the late Louie and Anna Tillman Barwick. She had worked for Sunnyland and J. C. Penneys. Survivors include her son, Donnie Luke of Umatilla, FL, daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Tony Howell of Fayetteville, GA, Brenda and Phillip McBride of Boston, GA, grandchildren, Deborah Duford and husband, Dave of Fayetteville, GA, Nat Carter and wife Angie of Boston, Dana Womack and husband, Steve of Locust Grove, Greg Luke of Umatilla, FL, Donna Carter of Erkhart, IN, Nancy Howell of Valdosta, Raymond Hale of Jemison, AL, Natalie Dunaway and husband Mattison of Meigs, Susan Force and husband Tripp of Thomasville, Tony Howell and wife Shannon of Tifton, Kathie Carter and husband Donald of Valdosta, Jimmy Luke and wife Stephanie of Eustis, FL; great grandchildren, Brandi Duford Hudgins, Jason Hale, Lasi Palmer, Allan Duford, Jeremy Hale, Jared Carter, Cristal Hawkins and Ashley Hawkins, Sarah Hale, Luke and Brooke Carter, Dylan Force, Tylor and Taylor Duford, Kodie Burger, Bryce Carter, Brittany Crocker, Morgan and Marshall Dunaway, Dylan and Faith Carter; great great grandchildren, Ryan Smith, Hannah Leigh Hudgins, Kaylee Marie Anuez, Austin Hale, Nathan Wayne Anuez, Brooklyn Palmer; sister, Ernestine Morris; brother, Harold Barwick and numerous nieces and nephews. Her grandson Alan Hale and great granddaughter, Leah Long preceded her in death. The family will receive friends from 7-9PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
