Funeral services for Louise Ferguson House, 87, of Thomasville will be at 11:00AM, Saturday, June 8, 2002 at First Baptist Church where she was a member. Rev. Dr. Milton C. Gardner & Rev. Don McMillan will officiate with interment in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Corky Sampson, Rusty Sampson, Wesley Sampson, Terry Ferguson, Lee Ferguson and Scott Ferguson. Mrs. House died June 5, 2002 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born November 21, 1914 in Meigs, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Leroy & Susie Palmer Ferguson. On May 27, 1941 she married Calvin D. House who died on April 28, 1963. She retired from Sunnyland Food on April 1, 1983 after 32 years. She was salutatorian for the Class of 1932 for Meigs High School and was the first Sumbeam leader for Dawson St. Baptist Church, president of Thomasville Pilot Club, Lt. Governor Southeastern Region Pilot Club, won distinguish service award from Chamber of Commerce, volunteer for Archbold Hospital, president for Auxillary, volunteer for Bloodmobile, member of council on aging. She is survived by sister Lorene Bennett of Thomasville, brother Hollis Ferguson of Fayettville, GA., sisters, LaVerne Varn of Thomasville and Lila Jean Sampson of Thomasville, nieces & nephews, Lynn Brooks, Dale Bailey, Cheryl Dodson, Gene Ferguson, Mary Gaulding, Elaine Jones, Terry Ferguson, Cindy Stansbury, Lee Ferguson, Scott Ferguson, Corky Sampson, Rusty Sampson, Wesley Sampson, Tony Sampson, 21 great nieces & nephews, 4 great great nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Leroy Ferguson The family will receive friends at Allen & Allen Funeral home on Friday from 7-9PM. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, P.O.
