Homegoing celebration for Louise McCaskill Wells will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 10, 2012 at Allen and Allen Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville, Georgia. Rev. Jennifer Donaldson-Baker will officiate and the repass will be held at Springhill M.B. Church, Pastor C.L. Green, Fellowship Hall, 4293 Hall Rd, Thomasville, Ga following the service. Mrs. Wells died on Friday, August 3, 2012 in Thomasville, Georgia at 12:25 PM at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born April 11, 1938 in Boston, Georgia; she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Maggie Heard McCaskill. On August 11, 1956, she was married to the late Nathaniel Wells, Sr. She was a 1956 graduate of Boston High School in Boston, GA. Mrs. Wells retired from Southwestern State Hospital, where she worked as a Health Service Tech. She attended The River Church in Thomasville, GA.
Survivors include daughters, Belinda Wells Frazier Gene of Boston, GA, Charlene Wells-Hopkins Samuel of Thomasville, GA, Debra Carlessia Wells of Stockbridge GA, and Shirley Wells Alexander John of Riverdale, GA; sons, Allen Roscoe Wells Debbie of Decatur, GA, Lenoris James Wells Diana of Decatur, GA and Nathaniel Wells, Jr. of Thomasville, GA. Also surviving sisters, Maggie McCaskill, Marjorie Reddick Isaiah, both of Boston GA, Madine Camon of Ray City, GA, Teresa McCaskill of Baltimore, MD and brothers Samuel McCaskill of Milwaukee, WI and Leroy McCaskill, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL.; sister in laws, Sara McCaskill of Boston GA, Arunita Christian Leonard of Thomasville GA, Ethel Mae Brooks of Boca Raton, FL, Evelyn Solomon of Fayetteville, GA and Willie Lee Anderson of Boston, GA and brothers in law, Wilbur Brooks LaDonna of Tallahassee, FL; aunts, Sylvia Hampton of Lake Wales, FL, Sue Willis of Daytona, FL and Connie Barrs of Jacksonville, FL and uncle, John Henry McCaskill of Boston GA. Other survivors include 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Eric Lorenzo Wells, a sister, Annie Mae McCarthy and brothers Robert McCaskill and Freddie McCaskill, Sr.
