Lucille Bishop Dekle, age 100, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2019. She was born October 19, 1919 in Rochelle, Georgia to George and Alice Bishop. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Thomasville, Georgia and was married to Julian Morris “Smitty” Dekle, who preceded her in death in 1988.
Lucille will be lovingly remembered by her son Phil Dekle (Rosemary), daughter Anna Law (David), granddaughters Ansley Silvers (Gary) and Corby Cook (Mike), grandson Julian Morris Dekle, and five great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Thomasville, Georgia on Sunday, November 17, 2019, at 2 p.m. Dr. Gary Silvers will officiate.
