Ludwig "Skip" Halstead

March 11, 1926 — September 11, 2017

Ludwig W. “Skip” Halstead, 91 of Thomasville, Georgia, passed away September 11, 2017 at Archbold Hospital. Born March 11, 1926 in Germany, he was the son of the late Wilhelm B. Halsband and Maria Haussmann Halsband. He is married to Grace Thompson Halstead, who survives. He was a retired Sales Executive with several national boiler manufacturers and was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. He is also survived by his children, Monica Dudenhoeffer and husband Donald of Idaho Falls, Idaho and Michael Halstead and wife Cynthia of Winfield, Illinois and grandchildren, Megan Dudenhoeffer, Maria Dudenhoeffer, Luke Halstead, Christian Halstead and Ava Halstead. The family will be having a memorial service at St Augustine Catholic Church on October 23, 2017 at 11 AM.. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta, Ga 30346( www.alzfd.org ).
