Graveside services for Lula Sculley McCray, 82, of Boston, will be held 4 p.m. Wednesday, at Little Flock Cemetery in the Reichertville community. The Rev. Keith Hill, Parish Associate of Thomasville's First Presbyterian Church, where she was a member, will officiate. Mrs. McCray died Saturday at her residence after a battle with cancer. Born April 17, 1926, she was the oldest daughter of the late Joseph Patrick Sculley and the late Lillie Reichert Sculley. She was married to the late William Henry McCray, Sr. She worked in the nursery at First Presbyterian Church until her retirement in 1990. Survivors include her daughter, Betty Lula McCray, son and daughter-in law Robert Gene and Cynthia McCray, all of Boston, and son and daughter-in-law Barry Alan and Kim McCray, and grandchildren Laura and William McCray, all of Thomasville. Other survivors include her brother David Sculley, sisters Frances Drew, Irene Doolittle, Betty Jameson, and Nancy McLeod, all of Boston, and sister Dorothy Kent of Pace, Florida, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry McCray, Sr., her son William Henry McCray, Jr., and two brothers, Preston and Gene Sculley. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Allen & Allen Funeral Home, Thomasville. Friends may also sign the online guest register at www.allenfh.com .
