Lula Redding Brown, 82, of Thomasville, Georgia, formerly of Dothan, Alabama, passed away November 18, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer. There will be no service or visitation as per Mrs. Brown's request. Born, Feb. 15, 1927, in Thomas County, she was the daughter of the late Thurston and Verdie Handcock Redding. She was married to Eldridge W. Brown, who preceded her in death after 37 years of marriage. She was a graduate of Coolidge High School, Draughon's Business College, Nashville, Tenn., Middle Tennessee Medical Lab and X-ray Technology, Nashville, Tenn. and was a Georgia Realtor. She and her husband had been real estate investors for the past thirty four years in Dothan, Ala. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Vick and Larry Herring of Thomasville; granddaughters, Angela Horne Strelich of Draper, Utah, Stacey Vick McGarr and husband, Frank of Cordele, Georgia; grandson, Thomas Chadwick Horne and wife, Patrice of Los Angeles, Calif.; great-grandsons, Tyler Ferrando of Draper, Utah and Lucas Chadwick Horne of Los Angeles, Calif.; great-granddaughters, Katherine McGarr, Margaret McGarr and Claire McGarr; and a very special daughter-in-law, Janice S.
