Services for Luther Thomas Cofer, Sr., 65, of Thomasville will be at 10 AM Wednesday at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Darrell Owens will officiate and internment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Cofer, Zachary Griner, Chris Griner, Brandon Ocha, Tylor Crawford and Arron Cofer. Mr. Cofer died May 13, 2012 at his residence. Born December 8, 1946 in Grady Co., GA, he was the son of the late Harvey L. and Lois Pyles Cofer. He was married to Shirley Mills Cofer, who survives. Survivors include sons, Luther Thomas Cofer, Jr. of Wyoming and Wendell Eugene Cofer of Bainbridge; son, Wilburn Harvey Cofer and wife Penny of Lafayette, GA and daughter Lisa Crawford and husband Robby of Thomasville. Other survivors include grandchildren, Arron Cofer, Gablenail Cofer, Noah Cofer, Elizabeth Cofer, Abbygail Cofer, Brooke Cofer, Brandon Cofer, Rose Cofer, Janice Cofer, Mathew Cofer, Kelsey Cofer, Jessica Cofer, Chris Griner, Zachary Griner, Brittany Griner Hanna Crawford and Tylor Crawford. Also surviving is a brother, Cecil L. Cofer and a nephew, Michael Cofer, both of Thomasville. Mr. Cofer was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Cofer, and a sister in law, Evelyn Cofer.
