Lynda Ann Smith Wester

Graveside services for Lynda Ann Smith Wester, 72 of Thomasville will be held at 4:00 pm, Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Jimmy Clanton will officiate. Ms. Wester passed away February 25 at her daughter’s home in Savanna. Born October 18, 1945 in Pavo, she was the daughter of the late J.L. Smith and Nellie Hobbs Smith. She worked for Southern Bell/AT&T and was co-owner of All My Love Florist from 1984-1998. She returned to work in 1999 with Walmart until her health caused her to retire. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Marjorie Wester of Savanna and Joey Adams and husband Jess of Atlanta; grandchildren, Iris Wester, Jordan Wright and Scott Wright; sisters & brothers, Janell Hendrix and husband Donald of Lakeland, Florida, Mary Brown and husband Jack of Boston, Tommy Smith and wife Vera of Thomasville, Danny Smith and wife Christine Smith of Pavo, Alan Smith and wife Bonnie of Pavo and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was previously married to Joe Wester of Albany, who was very attentive during her illness. She was preceded in death by sister, Dorothy Jean Smith.
