Services for Mae Linson Stewart of Thomasville are at 10:30AM on Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Leigh Ann Raynor will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Stewart died August 6 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born February 12, 1924 in Thomasville she was the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Robert Bruce Linson. She was married to Horace Stewart who preceded her in death in 1980. Mrs. Stewart was an office manager for Greenwood Plantation and was a member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Elizabeth Estes Stewart of Savannah, GA; daughter, Dinah Stewart Coley of Chattanooga, TN, granddaughter, Katherine Anne Coley of Hixson, TN, sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Bob McGee of Thomasville and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Williams of Thomasville. A daughter, Debbie Stewart and sister and brother-in-law, Bobbie and Herold Burton, preceded her in death. Memorial may be made to First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 975, Thomasville, GA 31799.
