Services for Major Doris Myers Greene, 85 of Thomasville, GA will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, February 25, 2013 at The Salvation Army Atlanta Temple Corps in Atlanta, GA. Lt. Col Robert Bridges and Commissioner James Osborne will officiate and interment will be in Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. Mrs. Greene passed away February 20, 2013 in Thomasville, GA. Born in Roanoke, VA, she was the daughter of the late Claude Myers and Nancy Ball Myers. She was married to Major Ronald C. Greene who preceded her in death. Mrs. Greene was a minister in The Salvation Army for over 50 years; she was a member of the Pilot Club and a volunteer at the VA Hospital. She is survived by her children, Donna Christine Jackson and husband John of Clearwater, Fl, Ronald Clayton Greene, Jr and wife Terrie of Asheville, NC, Nancy Eva Fuller and husband John of Atlanta, GA, Virginia Robison and husband Stan of Thomasville, GA; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Campbell of Vinton, VA.
