Mamie Mills Singletary

Graveside services for Mamie Mills Singletary, age 102, of Thomasville will be held on Monday, July 10, 2006 at 10:00AM at Laurel Hill Cemetery on 11th Street. The Rev. Dr. Milton C. Gardner will officiate. Mrs. Singletary died July 7 at Hospitality Care Center. Born October 2, 1903 in Grady Co., GA she was the daughter of the late Sidney and Claudia Mills. In April 1926 she married Kelzo Singletary who preceded her in death in 1961. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Naomi Sunday School Class, Young at Hearts and Circle #10. Survivors include her daughter, Ruth Edwards of Ochlocknee, eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. A daughter, Ruby McCartney and a son, Audrey Singletary, preceded her in death.
