Marcie Ann Green

Marcie Ann Green, 65, of Cairo passed away on September 27, 2017 in Bainbridge, Georgia. Born October 17, 1951 in Cairo, she was the daughter of the late Meven Leroy and Lizzie Frances Clayton Curby. Mrs. Green was married to Earl Alton Green, who survives. She was a woman of many talents and a heart of gold. Mrs. Green loved her family dearly. Survivors include sons Milledge “Chris” Morey and wife Jennifer, William A. Morey and wife Marissa and Sidney O. Green; grandchildren, Gage Rodgers, Britney Rodgers, Calah Dotson (Morey), Tristen Morey, Summer Morey, Shirley Faith Morey, Malicah Morey, McKenzie Morey, Daniel Morey, William A. Morey; two great granddaughters; sister Bobbie C. Allen and husband Jimmy; brothers Randall L. Curby and wife Sheily and Sidney L. Curby and Susan; step-brothers, Garnett Oliver and wife Cindy and John Oliver and wife Teresa. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Elise Green; granddaughter, Liberty S. Morey, and brothers Vernon Lee Curby and Stanley Garrett Curby. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral expenses through Allen & Allen Funeral Home, PO Box 318, Thomasville, GA 31799.
