Services for Marcus Wayne Barwick, 68, of Thomasville, are at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008 at First Baptist Church, where he was a member. The Rev. Dr. Dan Spencer and Rev. Jack E. Schulz will officiate and interment is in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Barwick died Sept. 29, 2008. Born Nov. 17, 1939, in Thomasville, he was the son of the late John Alton "Jabo" and Gertrude Wheeler Barwick. On June 14, 1964, he married Revonda Graham Barwick, who survives. Mr. Barwick was semi retired from Precision Auto Craft. He was also active in Sunday school, worked in the church library, and was a member of the Lord's Supper Committee. Other survivors include daughter, Tammy Barwick; sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Louise Barwick and Ken and Leigh Barwick all of Thomasville; grandchildren, Ben Barwick, Bryce Barwick, Jarrett "J.B." Barwick and Hayes Barwick; brother, John Alton Barwick, Jr. of Illinois; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Graham. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Library, P.O. Box 2790, Thomasville, GA 31799, American Heart Association, c/o Vicki Lutes, P.O. Box 1999, Thomasville, GA 31799 or to the Diabetes Association, Attention: ADA Web, P.O.
