Margaret Alderman

Thomasville, GA – Mrs. Margaret Jones Alderman, age 76, of Thomasville, Georgia, was called home to be with the Lord on November 12, 2020. She was loved by all that knew her and will be missed every day. She died at home surrounded by family and filled with the certainty of God’s love.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at First Newark Baptist Church, 225 Russell Rd, Thomasville, GA. Pastor Steve Brooks will officiate.
The family will receive friends for the visitation from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service
at the church on Saturday.

A graveside service will immediately follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens on Hwy 84 East.
Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and masks are required.

Margaret was a faithful member of First Newark Baptist Church. She loved church and she loved her family. She also loved gardening and could often be found tending the beautiful
flowers in her yard and home.

Margaret is survived by her loving husband and one true love of nearly 58 years, Robert Roy Alderman. They were married on May 31, 1963.
She is survived by her children, Robert Brent Alderman (Debi), Monica Lynn Bell (David) and Mark Alderman (Misty). She is also survived by her sisters, Ruth Flowers and Betty Tucker (Gary); grandchildren, Rebecca Kremer (Cole), Lyndsey Palmer (Hayden), Olivia Wehling (Rob) and Eric Alderman (Allison); great grandchildren, Cayman Ulrich, Aidan Barlow, Teagan Burgess, Cade Kremer, Declan Palmer, Elliot Kremer and Archer Alderman; many nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac B. Jones, Sr. and Stella Parker Jones; and her siblings, Isaac Bush Jones, Jr., Jesse Wilson, Madeline Howell, Bernice Barnard, Bonnie Shierling, Edward Jones and Tommy Jones.
