Graveside services for Margaret Amanda Parramore Walker of Thomasville were Monday, November 1, 2004 at Laurel Hill Cemetery on 10th Street. The Rev. Keith Hill and the Rev. Daniel Smoak officiated. Mrs. Walker died October 30, 2004 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born October 4, 1914 in Boston, GA she was the daughter of the late Dubel Ansel and Josie Maude Norton Parramore. On January 27, 1940 she married Donald Cecil Walker who preceded her in death on October 8, 1964. Mrs. Walker was a long time and devoted member of First Presbyterian Church of Thomasville, GA and was a retired registered nurse. She had received her nursing degree from St. Joseph Infirmary in Atlanta, GA in 1938 and was a member of the DAR, UDC, Landmarks, American Cancer Society, Docent at Historical Society and Salzburger Society. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Joe Harvard of Thomasville, Amanda and Michael Hall of Roswell, GA, Margaret and Travis Weatherly of Snellville, GA; grandchildren, Natalie Harvard Braswell and husband, Robert, Jay Harvard and wife, Susan, Cullen Harvard and wife, Cathy all of Thomasville; Meghan Hall Erlacher and husband, Ray of Fort Walton, FL, Travis Weatherly of Athens, GA; great grandchildren, Brooke, Abigail and Ben Braswell, Bailey and Chase Harvard and Walker and Garrett Harvard all of Thomasville and Sutton Erlacher of Fort Walton, FL. Her sisters, Laura Parramore Sanders and Emily Parramore Hogg, preceded her in death. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Inc., P.O.
