Margaret Beaty Miller

Services for Margaret Beaty Miller of Thomasville are at 2:00PM on Thursday, July 13, 2006 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Tim Robson will officiate and interment will be in Salem Cemetery. Pallbearers are Steve Gay, Bill Barclay, Trey Barclay, Brett Barclay, Gene Griffis and Grant Roberds. Mrs. Miller died July 10 at Hospitality Care. Born August 21, 1912 in Thomas Co., GA she was the daughter of the late Homer D. and Effie L. Holland Beaty. On July 8, 1934 she married Leonard Miller who preceded her in death. Mrs. Miller was a member of Salem Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Dorothy A. Miller Bozeman and Elery Bozeman of Albany, GA, Frances Miller Gay and Marion Gay of Thomasville, son and daughter-in-law, Roy L. Miller and Tammy of Nashville, GA; seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, sister, Ophelia Varnedoe of Brunswick and several nieces and nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by a son, Harvey A. Miller in 1969, sister, Pearl D. Wimberly and brother, Rosco H. Beaty. The family will receive friends from 7-9PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
